Three components work together to deliver science-based authentication at scale: polymer film, acceptance reader, and cloud software.
Step 1
Embed or Apply the Polymark
An ultra-thin polymer film is added during manufacturing. Just 2mm square and 20 microns thin, its structure forms naturally and is 100% unique. The spectral signature is registered in our Cirrus System.
Step 2
Generate a Polycode
Polymark film data, Polychrome features, and cryptographic keys are combined into a one-way hash. The result is a GS-1 standard QR code printed on the object. It cannot be reverse-engineered or cloned.
Step 3
Scan the Polycode
Scan the Polycode with any smartphone using the web-based app. Cirrus System returns a simple pass or fail in seconds. For forensic-grade verification, a spectrometer reads the Polymark film directly on the object.
