THE PROBLEM
Hologram stickers were never designed for this.
They can be copied
Hologram stock is on Amazon. A counterfeiter buys blanks, prints serial numbers, and produces stickers visually indistinguishable from the real thing. Even premium micro-optic labels rely on visual inspection of 3D effects.
They carry no identity
A numbered sticker is only as trustworthy as the spreadsheet behind it. There is no way for a buyer, dealer, or auction house to independently verify a specific sticker is genuine — only that a number exists in someone's database.
They generate no data
Once applied, a sticker tells you nothing. No scan history, no secondary-market tracking, no counterfeit hot-spot signal, no ownership record. You authenticate the item once and the signal goes dark forever.
THE SOLUTION
Three components. One sticker.
1 - Mark with nanolayer film inside the sticker
A 2 mm polymer film that is physically unique at the molecular scale — like a fingerprint, not a serial number. Integrated into the same sticker form factors you supply today; application workflow is unchanged.
2 - Bind cryptographically at issuance
At the moment of authentication, the Cirrus System reads the film and binds it to the specific item — this card, this jersey, this COA, this figure. A Polycode QR is printed on the sticker encoding the binding.
3 - Verify any collector, with any smartphone
A buyer, dealer, or auction house scans the Polycode with a phone. The app confirms the sticker is genuine, the film is present, the item matches, and returns the ownership history — all from the platform, not your database.
