Architecture
Three components. One system.
The Polymark System is a film, a reader, and a cloud service that bind every physical object to a unique, verifiable identity. None of them work alone. Together they replace hologram stickers, RFID, and authentication ink for a fraction of the cost.
Polymer film
Multi-layer nanopolymer with a spectral signature that forms randomly during manufacture. Label, tag, or embedded.
Acceptance reader
Spectrometer for forensic-grade reads. Smartphone for transactional verification. Both speak the same protocol.
Security software
Cirrus is the Polymark cloud system. Bind, verify, and transfer ownership. AWS-resident. API-first.

CIRRUS SYSTEM
Three operations. One source of truth.
Cirrus holds every polymark's identity record, from issuance to retirement. It connects to legacy inventory and supply chain systems through a flat REST surface — no rip-and-replace, no proprietary middleware.

At manufacture, the spectral signature is captured, hashed, and registered against the object's GTIN, owner, and metadata. The film and the record are now married for life.

Anyone with a phone can confirm an object is what it claims to be. A 1-to-1 lookup against the bound record returns authentic, unauthentic, or indeterminate. No grey area.

When ownership changes hands, the chain of custody updates atomically — every transfer signed, timestamped, and queryable. Provenance becomes a property of the object.
